RESPONSIBILITIES
The Engineer of Product is responsible for specific tasks and overall objectives to meet and exceed team and personal goals while managing multiple projects under general guidance. This role also conceptualizes project paths quickly and accurately, is a problem solver, and addresses challenges strategically and efficiently
SKILLS
Works with a team of project engineers or lab techs ensuring efficient time to market for projects assigned. Works with cross-functional partners, and maintain open lines of communication with peers and leadership Effectively manage multiple CDP projects with guidance from SME expertise and individual strengths of team members Ensure projects continue to move smoothly cross functional partners Maintain project timelines and project budgets for assigned projects while promoting efficiency through continuous process improvement
EDUCATION
BS in science or engineering or equivalent experience. 0-2 or more yrs. of experience.
R&D Engineer
SUMMARY
Engineering is responsible for performing research and analyses to develop design options for components, products, systems and processes. Research and Development Engineering is responsible for developing and implementing new products through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering and documentation practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Tests developments, and execution on new products in conjunction with Marketing and external customers. Primarily supports maintenance of business projects (MOB) with some potential support on New Product Development (NPD) projects. Executes against all requirements of a Design History File (DHF) including creating all product development documentation, developing and testing mechanical designs for products. Manages assigned projects to established time lines and generate/maintain project status updates. Acts as a technical liaison between Marketing and Production with respect to the introduction of new products. Leads and manages all aspects of the CDP (Change Deployment Process) Stays aware of, and keeps up to date with, health and safety issues Keeps current with latest technological developments. Supports daily product production and related technical issues as they arise.
