Main Mission:
Lead issue resolution and problem-solving both internally and with customers. Ensure robust process control and adherence to control plans. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Ensure compliance with industry standards, including IATF16949, ISO14001, and ISO50001. Maintain and optimize the Quality Management System (QMS), including documentation, audits, and cross-functional coordination. Key Responsibilities:
Quality Engineering Monitor and improve Customer PPM, Supplier PPM, and Quality Costs. Lead structured problem-solving efforts using tools such as 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone. Support APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and MSA deliverables for new product launches. Ensure adherence to control plans and process standards on the production floor. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement preventive actions and process improvements. Quality Systems Management Maintain and improve QMS documentation and processes using LEO/VISO/COLLECTIO platforms. Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal audits; support external audits and certification processes. Monitor QMS KPIs and implement corrective actions using risk-based methodologies. Train employees on QMS tools, standards, and document control procedures. Lead implementation and monitoring of IATF16949 standards and support ISO certifications. Collaborate closely with the Site Quality Manager to align quality strategies with plant KPIs. Lead special assignments and quality initiatives as delegated. Exercise authority to stop production or processes in case of non-conformance or safety risks. Qualifications: Technical High School diploma required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality, or Business Administration preferred. Minimum 6 years of experience in Quality Management, with at least 3 years in the automotive industry. Enhanced professional training in Quality Management preferred. Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001/IATF16949 (active). Strong analytical and organizational skills. Technical Competencies: Expertise in DFMEA, PFMEA, MSA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, GD&T. Deep understanding of IATF16949/ISO/VDA requirements and auditing practices. Proficient in SAP QM, APIS, Q-DAS/Q-STAT. Skilled in quality planning, problem-solving, and maintaining quality certifications. Familiarity with customer-specific requirements and project-based quality deliverables.
