SUMMARY As our Quality Engineer with at least 5 years in manufacturing to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards. Key expertise includes Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Six Sigma, Process Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, AS9002:1994, ASQR-01, and aerospace quality systems.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Act as the primary quality assurance resource to the manufacturing team for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement. * Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection. * Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents, and reports. * Assist in process certification by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data, and making recommendations. * Develop, execute, and analyze quality-reporting measures. * Report to management on quality issues and trends. * Participate in internal and external quality audits. * Implement Lean Manufacturing techniques where appropriate to improve the manufacturing process. * Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation. * Understand and implement the requirements of AS9002:1994 and ASQR-01. * Develop innovative solutions to complex problems and ensure that the manufacturing process delivers products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer role within the manufacturing industry. * Experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Six Sigma, Process Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Engineering, AS9002:1994, ASQR-01, and aerospace quality. * Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles. * Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent is preferred.
