Job Details
SUMMARY:
As our Quality Engineer, you will ensure compliance during the development and ongoing production of Opto-Electronic and Test & Measurement products.
MUST HAVES:
AS9100
Quality experience for New Product Development
MIL spec standards or NASA standards Compliance
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure product compliance with AS9100 and customer-specific standards
Develop and implement quality plans, processes, best practices, and inspection criteria for pre-production and production products.
Oversee incoming inspection and in-process inspection of parts.
Direct environmental, qualification, and acceptance testing.
Support part and material selection during development to ensure alignment with requirements.
Interface with suppliers to ensure procured components meet technical and quality targets.
Support of design reviews to ensure designs comply with the company quality plan and customer-specific requirements.
Prepare and maintain deliverable documentation, including test reports and end item data packages.
Maintain and track quality metrics and drive closure of non-conformances.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
-BS degree in Engineering preferred
MS Office
Experience with requirements tracking and verification
Experience with parts, materials, and process planning
Familiarity with AS9100 compliance
Familiarity with MIL-STD, NASA/ESA, IEC laser safety, and/or CE requirements
Familiarity with aerospace environmental testing a plus
US Citizenship or Permanent Resident
