QMS/PLM Engineer

Overview: We’re looking for a Sr. IT Quality & PLM Systems Engineer to lead the implementation, integration, and optimization of digital Quality Management (QMS) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems across manufacturing operations. This role focuses on driving compliance, streamlining product development, and enhancing product and process quality through connected, data-driven systems. Key Responsibilities: System Design & Deployment Design, implement, and optimize QMS and PLM platforms to support quality assurance and product lifecycle processes in a manufacturing environment. Configuration & Compliance Configure QMS modules such as CAPA, audits, document control, nonconformance, and supplier quality to meet ISO 9001 and regulatory standards. Lead system validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) efforts. PLM Enablement & Product Workflows Configure PLM capabilities including BOM management, change control, document workflows, and support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change Management (ECM). System Integration Integrate QMS and PLM systems with ERP, MES, WMS, and LIMS platforms to enable end-to-end visibility and seamless data flow across operations. Analytics & Process Improvement Develop dashboards and reporting tools for real-time quality monitoring. Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions. Identify and implement continuous improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC methodologies. Training & Support Deliver user training and support to ensure system adoption and effectiveness. Serve as the technical lead for issue resolution and system enhancements. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure systems align with business goals and regulatory requirements (ISO, FDA, APQP). Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years implementing and managing QMS and/or PLM systems in manufacturing Hands-on experience with QMS platforms (e.g., MasterControl, Arena, ETQ, TrackWise) Knowledge of PLM tools and processes supporting NPI, ECM, and compliance workflows Familiarity with regulated environments such as battery, automotive, or medical device manufacturing Strong understanding of ISO standards, validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ), and quality best practices Skilled in system integration and cross-functional collaboration Proficient in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, SPC) Strong project management and stakeholder communication abilities
