Pilatus is hiring a QMS and SMS Engineer to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating the Quality Management System (QMS) and Safety Management System (SMS). Specifically, managing compliance documentation, supporting audit processes, and ensuring regulatory alignment with applicable standards and regulations. Take your career to the next level with Pilatus Business Aircraft Ltd What you do Develops and manages comprehensive updates and maintenance of the QMS Oversees the Enterprise Risk Management System (ERM), the Emergency Response Plan (ERP), and the Safety Management System (SMS) Ensures that all process documentation and manuals are up-to-date and compliant with the latest regulatory standards 14 CFR Part 43, Part 145, Part-21 (PMA), and EASA Part-21 Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of the QMS and makes necessary improvements Interfaces to Stans Quality Management System including alignment with the global quality team Conducts internal audits and manages associate follow-up actions Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of the ERM and SMS and makes necessary improvements Leads improvements and safety issue corrective actions during their implementation What you bring . in Aviation Safety or related field or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years of experience in the aviation or aerospace industry Training in Lean Six Sigma methodologies Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Experience with ERP/MRP systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) What we offer 11 paid holidays a year, plus 15 days of paid vacation time, and 6 days of paid sick/personal time to start with an increase to 20 days of paid vacation time after 5 years with Pilatus 90% of medical, dental, and vision premiums paid for single coverage and 80% for family coverage, averaging $9, 600 annually Monthly health savings account (HSA) contributions totaling $2, 250 for single coverage and $3, 000 for family coverage annually 401(k) retirement plan matching up to 6% Life and long-term disability insurance premiums paid in full Tuition assistance available annually after the first year
