Qualifications:
BSME, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, 5+ years’ experience in a technical, industrial manufacturing environment Proven experience managing hardware prototype builds, including a strong understanding of the product development lifecycle. Demonstrated ability to manage complex BOMs (500+ parts preferred) and track material readiness. Experience with inventory management, supply chain logistics, and production planning. Must have excellent communication skills - clear, crisp, precise.  Must be highly organized and meticulous. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Responsibilities:
Prototype Build Management: Lead and manage all aspects of prototype development builds, from initial planning through successful completion. Material Readiness: Oversee material inventory and ensure "Clear to Build" status for all prototypes. This includes: Tracking and expediting material landings and deliveries. Coordinating with receiving teams to ensure accurate and timely intake of components. Working with engineering and operations to facilitate kitting and staging of materials for builds. Build Execution: Facilitate and execute prototype builds, ranging from smaller, modular components to complex whole products with Bill of Materials (BOMs) potentially exceeding 500 parts. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure alignment and resolve any issues impacting build schedules. Schedule & Risk Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. Communication & Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and achievements to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams.
