What does this role look like?
As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering custom avionics systems and solutions for space missions. You will be involved in interpreting complex technical engineering data and creating solutions for areas such as system integration, software and hardware development, testing, and avionics equipment optimization.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• Ensure that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans
• Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, Integration, and completion of Engineering projects within the area of assigned responsibility
• Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers
To be effective in this role, you will need:
• Prior experience in project execution or program management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 9+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's; or 7+ years of professional experience with a Master's degree.
• Qualified candidate must hold an active DoD Interim Secret or higher Security Clearance ; thus US Citizenship is required.

Desired skills
• Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change
• Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope
• Experience using JIRA or Version 1 or similar tools for project planning and tracking
• Experience throughout the engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test, and operational deployment)
• Experience in Business Rhythm creation and management experience
• Excellent presentation abilities
• Excellent organizational skills
