Key Responsibilities As a Senior Project Engineer, you will: Serve as Special Inspection Engineer of Record for projects across Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria, Loudoun, Falls Church, and Prince William counties.
Provide geotechnical support to Construction Materials Testing (CMT) project managers .
Conduct site visits , attend client and progress meetings, and prepare detailed technical reports.
Contribute to proposal preparation, cost estimating, and the development of specifications and plans .
Support cross-functional engineering departments as needed.
Maintain rigorous standards of service, quality, and client satisfaction .
Promote and uphold company and site safety protocols .
Qualifications & Requirements Education: B.S. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required; M.S. preferred.
Experience: 10+ years in geotechnical engineering or construction materials testing.
Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
Familiarity with Northern Virginia special inspection programs .
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD .
Valid drivers license with ability to travel locally and regionally.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in diverse field conditions .
