We are currently seeking to add a Project Engineer, Civil to our dynamic team. This civil engineering position will serve a key role on design teams, delivering dynamic projects that enhance our local communities within Eastern Washington. These encompass a wide range of projects from public infrastructure to diverse land development ventures spanning residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Working within a collaborative team of engineers, Project Managers and Apex staff, this position offers increasing responsibility and growth opportunities within a growing, multi-disciplinary company. This is a remote position and can be anywhere within the United States.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Perform civil engineering design tasks related to state and local municipal public works projects and private land development projects. Utilize adaptability and innovation to craft solutions for diverse technical challenges. Participate and represent Apex in professional organizations and functions Self-manage project tasks and maintain active communication with project managers Contribute to a fast-paced work environment across multiple disciplines and project types Participate in professional organizations and functions

What we're looking for: Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering plus 3+ years of increasingly responsible engineering design experience Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification Proficient skills in AutoCAD and Civil3D Excellent oral and written communication skills Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively Authorization to work in the US Valid Driver's License Desirable Qualifications Registered Professional Engineer, or working towards licensure within one year, in a State(s) where Apex does work or ability to obtain same by reciprocity.
