Qualifications

5-10 years of electrical engineering experience in field startups, wiring, PLC and HMI programming, and variable frequency drive setup Proficiency with Rockwell PLC/HMI (2+ years) and Siemens PLC/HMI (1+ years) Experience with Magnetek and Siemens VFDs 2+ years of independent PLC programming (not just modifications) Knowledge of NEC electrical code application Strong leadership abilities and customer-focused mindset Ability to work with challenging individuals and diverse teams Available for domestic and international travel to nuclear and government facilities Comfortable with extended field assignments (1-2 months) with 20-40% travel Responsibilities

Lead electrical/software engineering teams and provide technical supervision to engineers, technicians, and other workers Collaborate with project managers to establish requirements, maintain schedules, and ensure customer acceptance Troubleshoot and modify PLC code and HMI programs for automated business processes Read, design, and mark up electrical drawings including single line diagrams, schematics, panel layouts, and conduit drawings Calculate electrical specifications (wire sizes, drive sizes, braking resistors, transformers, contactors, overload protection) for systems up to 800V DC and 4160V AC Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) procedures with customers Maintain excellent customer relations with solution-oriented approach to complete testing and startups efficiently Provide design improvement recommendations to reduce costs and enhance functionality Work with project managers and purchasing to meet deadlines and specify parts
