Purpose of the position Be responsible for optimizing electronic products SMT (Surface Mount Technology) or PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly production planning and shipping process, coordinating cross-departmental resources (HC arrangement/line readiness/material supply), ensuring on-time delivery and improving production capacity efficiency. Coordinate and control production efficiency with a cost awareness by familiarity with ERP systems, data analysis capabilities for supply balance, and strong execution skills are necessary to drive efficient collaboration between the manufacturing end and the supply chain.
This position will be based in Houston, TX. Duties and Responsibilities Production and Shipping Planning Prepare production plan, budget and timelines according to production capacity and specifications. Make and optimize monthly/weekly production plans based on customer demands, inventory data, and capacity constraints to ensure timely order delivery. Plan work flow and schedule for production departments Monitor daily, weekly and monthly production schedules. Identify delays and accordingly adjust schedule to meet deadlines. Monitor the production progress of key processes such as product mainboard and assembly, and adjust the schedule in real time to handle urgent orders or abnormal fluctuations
Inventory Management Control inventory level of WIP and Finished goods. Balance the inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods to avoid material shortages or excessive inventory, ensuring costs remain within target ranges
Capacity Planning and Optimization Determine production requirement based on plant capacity, equipment, materials and manpower required to complete production target. Analyze production data (such as equipment utilization and labor efficiency), identify bottlenecks, and propose capacity improvement plans Drive the optimization of ERP/MRP system (such as SAP) scheduling modules to enhance automated scheduling efficiency.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and quality departments to ensure material supply, equipment tuning, and production line manpower match production needs
Track production progress and resolve any issues or delays. Education and Work Experience Strong sense of responsibility, with a strong team spirit, and able to balance team work distribution. Bachelor's degree or above, major in International Trade, Business Administration, Economics 3 years of work experience in the electronics industry is preferred. Fluent in English. Familiar with Mandarin Chinese, Spanish or Vietnamese as second language is preferred. Working conditions On-site role with fast-paced operations, flexibility required for after-hours support and overtime to ensure operational continuity
