You will be the Process Safety Engineer for the Environmental Safety and Health team at our Missiles and Fire Control facility in Troy, Alabama. Our team is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and compliance with all regulations and procedures related to ordnance safety.

What You Will Be Doing As the Process Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing new processes and technologies to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with ordnance safety requirements and protecting employees from potential hazards. You will work closely with design teams, develop hazard analyses and risk assessments, and prepare test procedures based on engineering specifications.

Your responsibilities will include: • Reviewing Manufacturing Process Plans for compliance with regulations and procedures • Participating on design teams for advanced manufacturing tooling • Developing hazard analyses and risk assessments to support manufacturing processes and testing operations • Preparing test procedures based on engineering specifications • Conducting incident investigations and recommending corrective action solutions • Applying applicable DOD, NFPA, OSHA, and ANSI standards
