Key Responsibilities:
Apply strong engineering fundamentals in manufacturing processes, with a focus on welding and electronics. Utilize CAD modeling tools effectively; experience with AutoCAD or CATIA V5/V6 is a plus. Conduct dimensional control and apply statistical methods and data analysis to support quality improvements. Preferably experienced in manufacturing techniques including metal stamping, welding/brazing, and hemming. Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015 standards, including PFMEA and control plans. Monitor and review body shop construction progress to ensure alignment with project timelines. Support production preparation activities for new model introductions. Oversee and inspect project progress related to new model development. Analyze early production and quality data to identify issues, implement corrective actions, stabilize processes, and maintain documentation. Review and manage purchase specifications and installation plans for new production equipment, including handling of logistics and customs clearance.
Impact of the Role: This role plays a vital part in launching new electric vehicle models and optimizing manufacturing performance in a cutting-edge production environment. The successful candidate will contribute to process innovation and quality assurance for next-generation vehicle manufacturing.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably within the automotive industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or equivalent tools. Demonstrated experience in data analysis and developing technical proposals. Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate across departments. Commitment to internal training protocols and cross-functional coordination.
