Process Engineer

Airswift has been tasked by one of our Engineering clients to seek a Process Engineer to join them on an initial 10-month assignment in Denver, CO. Responsibilities FEL / FEED experience in a refining environment. Preparation of key deliverables (P&IDs, PFDs, Material Balance, Line Lists, etc.) and conformance to company / Client standards throughout project stages (scoping studies, detailed design, etc.). Calculations (provide input into equipment and instrument data sheets and MRs) and conceptual / basic / detailed engineering design in accordance with project execution plan and design / regulatory guidelines. Leadership, guidance and support on technical issues (mentor more junior engineers / designers). Define engineering scope of work and monitor schedule, costs, quality (key drawings, design concepts, calculations, etc.). Interface with all project team members and Client representatives; coordinate with Client to ensure timely receipt and delivery of information. Fiscal Responsibility Track and ensure adherence to approved project hours or assigned chargeable hours. Proven fiscal management skills to maximize operational efficiency and manage assigned budget to meet chargeability levels, control costs, and reduce overheads. General Manager retains sole authority to approve or reject business decisions or agreements having a direct or indirect financial impact on Rally. Any decisions that will impact or modify commercial terms between Rally and a Client, or are contradictory to Rally established rates and fees, must be reviewed and receive written approval from the GM.
Requirements Senior – 10+ years’ progressive experience Junior – 5+ years’ experience Professional Engineering license in Colorado Graduate of post-secondary engineering program and registration with applicable governing body. Motivated self-starter, and team contributor, with demonstrated experience within EPCM and industrial plant environments. Committed to excellence and adaptable to the needs of our Clients and business. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English coupled with the ability to work effectively in a team or independently. Proven ability to successfully meet project deliverables and timelines. Continued review and understanding of regulatory code changes and their impact on project design and scope. Organized, attentive to details and high proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Physical Demands: Lifting 10 lbs. maximum; occasional lifting/carrying. Primarily sitting, with occasional walking/standing; standard business office. Minimal exposure to environmental elements; site work may be required on occasion, which could introduce exposure to an industrial environment and the following: Walk long distances, on various terrains and weather conditions. Kneeling, crouching, and crawling on various surfaces for inspection or review purposes. Climbing stationary ladders, portable ladders, stairs or various heights to access locations for the purpose of inspection or review.
