Operations Consolidation Leader

The initial purpose of this position is to lead the company's initiative to consolidate operations resulting in one efficient operating location along with project support for installation of a new waste treatment system. Position will be a key player in the future operations of the company.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Regular attendance in accordance with Attendance Policy
  • Attend and complete all mandatory trainings by the necessary completion date

  • Ability to evaluate current manufacturing operations and recommend the most efficient restructuring into one manufacturing location
  • Develop consolidation options and conduct detailed analyses to qualify and quantify the benefits and risks of each option
  • Provide a visualization of the desired end state and understand gaps or obstacles to achieve result
  • Ability to consider all factors affecting consolidation such as total cost of operations, utilities, taxes, and other costs
  • Ability to provide benefits of effective consolidation strategies including reduced operating costs, improved use of resources, and optimized logistical networks
  • Consideration to lean manufacturing and constraints when developing consolidated organization
  • Recommendations for workflow automation
  • Develop comprehensive project plan with all necessary steps, resources required, budget and timeline to complete consolidation of operations
  • Collaborate with internal and external sources to ensure regulatory compliance and customer requirements are met
  • Attention to detail and follow up to tasks
  • Meet necessary deadlines on timeline
  • Provide frequent project updates to leadership
  • Provide recommendations if the project is compromised
