What we're looking for: Are you passionate about turning innovative designs into tangible, high-quality products that people use every day? We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Durables team, the group behind our world-class air, water, and cookware products. In this role, you will be the critical link between product design and our global manufacturing partners. You will guide the process of making our products manufacturable, reliable, and efficient. From analyzing initial designs to supporting products throughout their lifecycle, your work will ensure we deliver on our promise of quality. You will collaborate with teams across the globe, driving continuous improvement and solving complex challenges. This role involves 10-25% global travel to partner with our manufacturing sites. To support our global teams, this role includes scheduled evening calls approximately twice a week, typically on Mondays and Thursdays. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience). A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment. A total of 7 years are required in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree Demonstrated experience translating product designs into production-ready manufacturing processes. Ability to travel internationally up to twice per year. Skills to Be Successful in the Role: Deep understanding of Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles. Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Black Belt certification is a strong plus). A background in managing relationships and performance with external suppliers or vendors. Familiarity with electromechanical assembly processes. Experience contributing to product reliability and testing protocols. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively across different cultures and time zones. Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering on time, on budget, and to quality standards.

What’s special about this team: The Durables team in our Research and Development division is tasked with designing our cutting-edge air, water, and cookware systems. Comprised of designers, engineers, and technicians around the world, this team has been responsible for recent launches of the newest generations of our Air and Water filtration systems (Atmosphere Sky and eSpring, respectively).
