BE PART OF THE CONNECTION You fortify our network operations and service delivery through the implementation of new security technologies and the enhancement of existing ones. You work closely with internal teams to monitor, detect and alert on potential security threats. You lead and coordinate the incident response process for network security. You collaborate with teams in person and digitally within an office environment. HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE Correlate security-relevant systems and application log data to alert and report on potential security events. Drive the security event incident response lifecycle by leading all security countermeasures. Design and implement effective vulnerability management infrastructure and processes. Improve the existing security operations through analysis and revision of the system logic. Resolve cyber incidents by coordinating and controlling responses. Mentor and guide the work of the technical security team.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO Spectrum Business Required qualifications Experience: Four or more years of information security operations experience; Five or more years of information security and IT or network experience. Education: Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, a related field or equivalent experience; CISSP; Vendor-specific certification. Technical skills: Expert in network and system security vulnerabilities and exploits; Understanding of security exploits prevention and how to respond to security incidents; Knowledgeable of forensic methodologies; Familiar with TCP/IP, DOCSIS, application and cloud security. Skills: Management, issue resolution and English communication skills. Abilities: Ability to manage teams and resources during complex and rapid change.
Preferred qualifications Experience with OpenShift. Knowledge of Cloud Management Platforms. Networking knowledge to include routing, switching, BGP, data center fabrics, EVPN-VXLAN, spine-leaf. Load Balancing, experience with F5 Big IP preferred. Strong knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and identity management A deep understanding of security best practices and vulnerability management Experience with compliance frameworks including NIST 800-53rev5, CMMC, CIS Experience managing firewall and firewall management platforms including O/S and version upgrades, log collection and reporting; Preferably Palo Alto / Panorama Experience with high level escalations, intensive troubleshooting and auditing Hold or have deep understanding of certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent Experience in performing risk assessments WHAT YOU CAN ENJOY EVERY DAY Embracing diversity : A culture of excellence that celebrates diversity, innovative thinking and dedication to exceeding client expectations.
