Drive technical vision and roadmaps for complex products, balancing business goals, technical tradeoffs, and long-term scalability. Provide mentorship and guidance to engineering teams (5+ engineers), fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Champion best practices in system design, code quality, CI/CD pipelines, and observability (e.g., DataDog, Kibana). System Design & Execution Own end-to-end delivery of mission-critical products, from concept to deployment, including: Real-time data pipelines: design and implement event-streaming and ETL flows that process millions of records per second with low latency. Batch & streaming hybrid architectures: leverage tools like Kafka Streams, Flink, and Spark Streaming. Healthcare data integration: ingest, transform, and serve FHIR, CCDA, HL7 V2/V3, and other clinical document standards at scale. Microservices & customer-facing applications: build resilient, API-driven services with robust versioning and backward compatibility.
