Overview The Principal Solution Engineer analyzes, develops, modifies, and maintains Blue Yonder Software, focusing on Demand, Fulfillment, Order Optimization, and Reporting. Responsibilities include evaluating ML models like LGBM, making IT recommendations, supporting Tier Two technical issues, monitoring system capacity, and leading large application projects. Primary Responsibilities Lead large-scale application development projects, including offshore teams. Maintain knowledge of software development best practices and act as a thought leader. Coach and mentor junior developers and third-party teams. Facilitate training on software engineering within the IT team. Gather information to define work scope, data needs, and solutions. Serve as liaison between divisions and IT for projects and enhancements. Communicate and escalate project risks and issues. Design compliant system architectures and suggest process improvements. Monitor system performance and provide technical support. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years in application development or similar roles. Experience leading third-party application teams. Proficiency in Python and SQL. Experience with AWS services like Lambda, S3, SageMaker. Knowledge of Time Series analysis with ML models. Experience with APIs and ESB. Familiarity with Agile and BDD methodologies. Excellent communication skills. Supply chain experience preferred. Demand and supply planning knowledge preferred.
