You will join as the Principal AI Engineer, working on cutting-edge technologies such as Agentic AI frameworks, LLMs, RAG, MCP, scalable AI architectures, and developing solutions at the forefront of modern artificial intelligence. As the leader of the AI Engineering team, you will tackle some of the university's highest priority initiatives while collaborating with renowned faculty, students, and industry-leading technical teams. You'll bring your expertise to a vibrant environment that values ingenuity, agility, and impact, where your ideas can make a difference on a global scale. This position is primarily remote with periodic in-person meetings on campus. Responsibilities include: AI Solution Architecture & Implementation: Design and develop scalable AI applications and agents using state-of-the-art frameworks and tools. Technical Leadership & Team Guidance: Lead a team of AI full-stack developers and specialists, providing mentorship and defining best practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with faculty, students, and other technical teams to align AI solutions with institutional goals and research opportunities. Required Skills: 8+ years of experience in software development and AI engineering; leadership or mentorship experience preferred. Expertise in AI technologies such as LLM integration, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering. Hands-on with programming languages and frameworks like Python, JavaScript, Typescript, React, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Docker, and Kubernetes. Experience with agile practices, scalable architecture, and DevOps principles.
