This position involves designing and developing software for a medical instrument running iPad OS for clinical applications. The role includes creating new code as well as debugging and refactoring legacy code.

Must Have Skills

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and implements operating systems components, software tools, and utilities. Determines systems software design requirements. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Generates systems software engineering policies, standards, and procedures. Additional Information

The role is part of a specialist career stream, typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. The candidate will deliver and/or manage projects assigned and work with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. The position may involve mentoring colleagues or directing the work of other lower-level professionals.

Contract extension is highly likely, with a strong preference for local candidates who can come into work for a few days of the week.

Qualifications Requires a University Degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
