We are looking for a Prin Electrical Engineer - Exempt for a very important client. The ideal candidate will possess the following: Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience May have broad knowledge of project management Requires a University Degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. TECHNICAL SKILLS Must Have A Bachelor degree in electrical engineering is required • One or more years’ experience in medical device product development or equivalent is required • Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and proven hands-on electronic/mechanical skills • One or more years’ demonstrated experience and expertise with product testing, test equipment, analysis methodologies and test documentation is preferred • Familiarity with standard test equipment • One or more years’ experience in designing fixture • Experience in testing electro-mechanical systems is a plus close IEC 60601 standards Nice To Have Analysis of schematics and PCB design Conducted DVT Design Verification Testing Design and verification of medical electrical equipment Knowledge of IEC 60601 international standards. development of user needs and design input requirements Top 3 skills sets required: Electrical design, debug, troubleshooting, verification, PCB design Design for and verification of IEC 60601 Compliance Test automation and software validation Products (if any) will this role support: ICMs and ICDs Target years of experience: >10
