The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) to support various commercial plumbing projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, CAD software, technical documentation, plumbing design, and FPC codes. The BIM Modeler will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that designs meet project specifications and industry standards.*Duties** Develop detailed 3D models using software such as Revit, BlueBeam, and AutoCAD.* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate various systems into cohesive designs.* Utilize NavisWorks for model coordination and clash detection to identify potential issues before construction.* Create technical documentation including schematics, system designs, and assembly instructions.* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ASME and FPC codes & standards relevant to plumbing design.* Assist in drafting and revising project plans based on feedback from stakeholders.* Support project management by providing accurate modeling timelines and updates.*Qualifications** Proficiency in BIM software, including Revit, BlueBeam and AutoCAD.* Experience with plumbing design principles and plumbing codes.* Familiarity with Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.* Strong understanding of MEP knowledge related to construction plumbing projects.* Ability to perform technical writing for clear documentation of designs and processes.* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
