Selectek is partnering with a company located near Troy, Michigan to fill a PLC/Controls Engineer  role. This client is seeking an experienced candidate to work on assembly and gauging machinery. Employment Type: Direct Hire Expected Pay Range: $95,000-$105,000 annually plus bonuses, depending on experience Location: Troy, MI area Job Requirements: - 5+ years of experience  working in automation and controls programming - PLC programming and configuration using Step and State Logic - Proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI ecosystem - Experience with Fanuc and ABB robotic programming - Ethernet IP experience In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client’s request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation. Job Details: - Develop, program, and debug PLC/HMI systems  - Program multi-station assembly and test systems - Configure SCADA systems - Integrate Motion Control system - Interface with program managers, mechanical designers, and manufacturing team throughout project life cycle - Travel for commissioning and startup of machinery Schedule: Monday – Friday, normal work hours. Some Saturday 7:30a-12p shifts may be required, depending on workload or project timelines.
