Job Title: Performance Test Engineer Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract ONLY W2 About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer with 6 10 years of strong hands-on experience in JMeter scripting using BeanShell and Groovy . This is a development-focused , individual contributor role, ideal for someone who thrives in a technical, hands-on testing environment. Please note: We are not considering candidates for managerial, lead, or architect-level positions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter (BeanShell & Groovy)

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies

Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing for web and API-based applications

Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks and suggest performance improvements

Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines

Use performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling , and others

Monitor application and system performance using APM tools

Generate test summary reports and communicate findings to stakeholders

Continuously improve testing frameworks and methodologies

Required Skills & Experience: 6 10 years of hands-on performance testing experience

Expertise in JMeter , with scripting using BeanShell and Groovy

Familiarity with tools like BlazeMeter, NeoLoad, Gatling

Proficiency in Java, Python, or Groovy

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

Working knowledge of APM tools like New Relic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics , and Splunk

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
