Christ Church Audio Engineer Job Description Christ Church is seeking a dynamic, reliable, passionate, and dedicated Audio Engineer to assist with live sound mixing for events, promos, and worship services. The candidate will collaborate closely with the Worship and Creative Arts team and The Christ Church Collective to deliver exceptional live and recorded sound.

Responsibilities

Operate, test, improve, set up, maintain, and regularly inspect all audio equipment before and during live services and events.

Coordinate with the Teaching Pastor or Campus Pastor to address feedback and make necessary adjustments.

Work with the Worship Team (live band, worship leaders, backup singers, etc.) to ensure proper testing and readiness for performances, providing support during live events.

Adjust sound levels and EQ during live services and events.

Collaborate with visual, computer graphics, and lighting teams to ensure synchronization.

Qualifications

Flexibility is essential for this role.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and late hours as needed, with on-call expectations.

Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse individuals.

A degree in Audio Engineering or Audio Production (or related field) is preferred but not required; experience and coachability are valued.

Experience with digital consoles, Studio One / Ableton, and Dante audio networking is a plus.
