Responsibilities Provide technical support to internal and external customers regarding packaging automation Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, quality, design and production to deliver comprehensive solutions Analyze/troubleshoot customers efficiency issues related to GBP materials by identifying root causes and communicating effective solutions Recommend new packaging equipment or systems to meet customer needs Participate in audit teams to identify opportunities to minimize waste and improve efficiencies Establish and maintain relationships with packaging equipment manufacturers Stay abreast of emerging packaging technologies, industry trends and best practices Document customer visits and recommendations for future reference and continuous improvement Create and deliver presentations on packaging technology, providing insights into GBP-Packaging Systems and industry research Qualifications Bachelors degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 3-5 years experience in corrugated box manufacturing, packaging automation or related industry Strong technical knowledge of corrugated and folding carton packaging systems and materials Proficiency in troubleshooting packaging issues and implementing corrective actions Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide innovate solutions Effective oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with customers and internal teams Detail-orientated with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively Compensation & Benefits In addition to a competitive wage, the selected candidate will enjoy a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, wellness programs, STD, LTD, life insurance, company matching 401(k) and pension.
