You will focus on designing and building robust, scalable integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), and external third-party systems. This role is ideal for those who thrive in dynamic environments and can work independently to deliver high-impact solutions.WORKSITE: Remote (Los Angeles, CA)WORK SCHEDULE: Standard business hours (Pacific Time), 6-month engagement with potential extensionPAY RATE: $82/hour to $92/hourWHAT WE OFFER:Paid sick leave based on state regulations after 90 days of employmentMedical, dental, and vision coverage after a waiting period (60% paid by Fortuna)Free TeleMedicine and Mental Health support for all employees and their familiesAdditional voluntary benefits: Group Life Insurance, Accidental Insurance, Critical Care, Short-Term DisabilityWHAT YOU'LL DO:Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), ensuring seamless connectivity between Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle EBS (Human Resources, Payroll, etc.), and third-party applicationsWork closely with functional and technical stakeholders to understand complex integration needs related to HR, benefits, payroll, absence management, and labor reportingTranslate business requirements into detailed technical integration designs, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and compliance with best practicesConfigure and optimize integration workflows, including file-based data imports/exports, SOAP/REST APIs, and scheduled synchronizationsMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues by analyzing logs, error reports, and system behaviors during both implementation and post-go-live supportCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including integration specifications, configuration guides, and support proceduresProvide recommendations for performance tuning, security enhancements, and error handling mechanisms across integration pipelinesWHAT YOU'LL BRING:5+ years of experience in designing and supporting integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), with hands-on experience building both cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise connectionsProven expertise in integrating Oracle HCM Cloud with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and third-party platforms (e.g., payroll providers, timekeeping systems, tax services)Strong understanding of HR business processes, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Labor, and Absence ManagementDeep familiarity with web services (SOAP and REST), transformation mappings (XSLT), and integration security standards including OAuth 2.0, TLS, and token-based authenticationExperience with troubleshooting tools, error tracking, and resolving issues in high-stakes production environmentsAbility to work independently and proactively, manage multiple integration threads, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate with distributed teamsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation and communicate technical topics to non-technical audiencesFortuna operates as a staffing agency that sources screens and presents potential candidates for employment opportunities on behalf of our clients.Fortuna was founded in 2012 by practicing professionals with more than 50 combined years of experience.
