Position Overview
This engineering role can be filled at either the Mid-level or Senior Engineer level, with specific qualifications outlined below.
Expected Salary Range:
Mid-Level - $90,000 - $110,000
Senior Level - $118,800 - $150,000
Primary Purpose of Position
As a Nuclear Fuels Safety Analysis Engineer, you will tackle advanced technical problems that support our Clean Energy Center operations. Your responsibilities will include making critical technical decisions while applying your robust knowledge of engineering principles and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert technical support for engineering analysis, activities, and programs.
Consult on and resolve equipment and system issues through active engagement.
Manage engineering tasks effectively, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Perform independent research and analyses for regulatory projects.
Advise on innovative concepts to enhance performance or ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by management, including emergency response and support during outages.
Minimum Qualifications for Mid-Level Engineer
Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear) with 2 years of relevant nuclear engineering experience.
Ability to maintain required access and pass medical examinations as per job duties.
Minimum Qualifications for Senior Engineer
Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear) with 5 years of relevant nuclear engineering experience.
Ability to maintain required access and pass medical examinations as per job duties.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer Registration.
Qualified Nuclear Engineer (QNE) Qualification.
