Who You'll Work With Joining Arista as a Sales Engineer means becoming part of a team of industry experts. Reporting to the Regional Engineering Manager, you'll work alongside skilled field engineers, understanding technology and its business impact, aligning solutions with client goals, and collaborating with Product Management and Software Development teams to shape product development and strategy. Supported by our TAC, proof-of-concept resources, and executive team, you'll be positioned to lead and innovate. What Youll Do Act as a trusted advisor to customers, gathering requirements and identifying opportunities. Collaborate with Account Managers to understand clients and conduct network architectural reviews. Present Arista's networking solutions, including Data Center, Cognitive Campus, CloudVision, Security, and Monitoring solutions. Design and implement scalable network architectures using overlay technologies like VxLAN and EVPN. Conduct hands-on testing of proof-of-concept setups, ensuring successful deployment and performance. Provide design guidelines and recommendations to optimize network infrastructure. Respond to RFPs/RFQs and relay customer feedback to Product Management and Engineering. Help shape future network solutions through insights and feedback. Represent Arista at industry events and conferences, promoting our solutions. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements. Author white papers showcasing expertise and solving customer challenges.

Qualifications Network Industry Certifications such as ACE-L4, ACE-L6, ACE-L7, etc. Minimum 5 years experience in L2/L3 networking for Data Center, Campus, and Wi-Fi solutions. Expertise in routing, switching, and overlay technologies like VxLAN. Experience designing highly scalable leaf-spine architectures. Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role. Deep knowledge of Ethernet, routing protocols, VxLAN, multicast, QoS, etc. Understanding of Cisco and Juniper technologies. Proficiency with CLI and network automation using Python and Ansible is a plus. Strong writing skills for white papers and documentation. *** Local/Regional candidates only
