Must have a thorough understanding of LAN/WAN integration, TCP/IP, switching, and routing is essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Designing and implementing network solutions, topologies, and services to ensure efficiency, security, and reliability of current networks Working in a team environment to support effective customer service Analyzing network topologies and making recommendations on network equipment and services Configuring firewalls, load balancing, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting Managing request for work and work orders, implementation plans, diagrams, and packet captures Investigating faults in the network REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Sciences and 4 years related experience or successful completion of a certified technical/vocational school and 5 years related experience Expertise in Windows networks, Cisco Systems, and network monitoring products and technologies Experience is installing, configuring and managing F5 BigIP virtual network appliances Experience with Juniper/Cisco/Palo Alto networks, firewalls, and WLANs Experience in routed, switched, and wireless LAN environments that operate Microsoft, UNIX, and OpenVMS Experience with supporting design and establishment of a lab environment Experience with tunnelling, packet captures and network analysis tools COMPENSATION: Excellent compensation commensurate with experience in related field(s) and performance Major medical, dental and vision Paid holidays Paid Time Off (PTO) 401k and company matching ABOUT US: Mission To provide innovative IT solutions and services that enable our customers to effectively make critical decisions, improve productivity, and achieve business and operational success.
