Network Engineer Location: DC Area, onsite Terms: 9 months Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30 pm. Seeking strong SD WAN experience, Fortinet Secure SD WAN and candidates with stronger hands on Refresh experience to support this project. Strategic Resource will have experience in data center refreshes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background using Cisco Routers, Switches, endpoints, access points, and Edge Routers. Additionally, experience with Fortinet, and SD WAN, is essential. Experience supporting Azure Cloud Networking is preferred but not required. Solar wind is a plus but not required for this role, just looking for someone that is good Mid level Network Engineer. Key Focus Areas: • Support the data center refresh project, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations. • Support configurations and management of Cisco Routers, Switches, endpoints, access points, and Edge Routers. • Support the implementation and management of Fortinet security solutions and SD WAN technologies. • Support Azure Cloud Networking operations based on business needs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and performance. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner. • Document network configurations, changes, and updates for future reference. • Policy creation for SolarWinds Requirements: • Proven experience in data center refresh projects, particularly with Cisco networking equipment. • Strong expertise in Fortinet and SD WAN. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. • SolarWinds, applicable to SME role only.
