Overview This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. This position is aligned to our Wireless & Implementation Support networking group. It provides complex technical support for the Bank's data or voice network infrastructure. Responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting network infrastructure, and will provide Tier 3 support for issues related to networking. The role involves resolving escalated technical issues reported by users or system alerts, managing network components, asset inventory, capacity planning, and developing documentation for network device upgrades. Collaboration with vendors, colleagues, and management is essential to implement services and reduce costs. The role drives operational excellence and network efficiency, providing continuous service through daily activities and on-call after-hours support. May oversee less experienced associates and assist with disaster recovery testing. Responsibilities Principle Accountabilities: 60% Provide Level 3 technical support for data or voice network systems 20% Monitoring and auditing performance 10% Document and update procedures 10% Drive Operational Excellence Additional Responsibilities: Configure and install network hardware and software infrastructure, including Wireless, Routing/Switching, Cisco ACI, SolarWinds, Cisco SDWAN Support and implement cloud network solutions Provide expertise in BGP and other dynamic routing protocols Plan, document, and execute regular upgrades of network devices, ensuring compliance with SLAs, security standards, OS code, and configurations Monitor system alerts, analyze, resolve, or escalate issues, and update management accordingly Collaborate with vendors, colleagues, and management to implement services and reduce costs Manage network asset inventory and capacity planning Assist with disaster recovery testing throughout the year Drive operational excellence and network efficiency Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience in data, voice, or converged networking OR High School Diploma or GED with 8 years of relevant experience. Required Qualifications: Deep knowledge of networking technologies and protocols Technical skills in routing, switching, and provisioning Experience with Cisco switching and routing (NxOS and IOS) Ability to collaborate across teams Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of enterprise network experience with troubleshooting expertise Certifications: CCNA, CCNP Routing and Switching Additional certifications in Wireless, Cisco ACI, Thousand Eyes Experience with Packet Aggregation (Gigamon), IPAM (Infoblox), and provisioning skills Benefits details can be found at https://jobs.firstcitizens.com/benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
