The Network Engineer III is responsible for troubleshooting, remediation, and implementation of network solutions to meet our clients' technology and business needs. Our Managed Services team is at the forefront of our services organization, and this role requires engaging with a variety of clients daily. The role plays a pivotal part in ensuring client success and maintaining the overall uptime and performance of critical infrastructure. Research, resolve, and respond to internal and client issues within the scope of the NOC teams responsibilities in a timely manner, providing best-in-class support for iT1s Managed Service Clients. Monitor ticketing queue and respond to service requests or incidents. Troubleshoot problems reported by users, systems, electronic messaging services, and maintain a secure systems environment. Maintain, monitor, and support the network infrastructure environment and/or facilities. Coordinate and work on multiple cross-functional initiatives and projects. Diagnose and resolve complex network-related incidents. Support multiple systems or applications of medium to high complexity, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility. Install, configure, and maintain approved hardware and software components. Provide support for connectivity or related network/communication issues for the user community. Define technical requirements to meet customer business needs. Present solutions to clients in face-to-face and virtual meetings. Implement solutions according to technical requirements. Escalate issues to appropriate personnel as necessary.
Job Qualification Requirements: 3+ years of Cisco networking leadership in large, multi-site enterprise environments. 3+ years of Cisco network hardware configuration management (routers, switches, VPN/IPSec). 3+ years of managing enterprise deployment and support for secure wireless networks. 3+ years of mastery in TCP/IP, including LAN and secure WAN design and implementation. Ability to assess existing architectures and situations and make recommendations. Strong ability to cultivate relationships with clients to develop and share understanding of technology solutions. Excellent presentation and articulation skills for technical content tailored to the audience.
Preferred Certifications: CCNA (Required) CCNP Enterprise Datacenter (Optional)
Job Location: Remote Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 4 AM 12:30 PM AZ
Physical Demands: Sitting at a computer for 8 hours per day. Keyboarding for 8 hours per day. Near vision tasks (working with small objects or reading small print). Speaking (communicating information to clients and coworkers). Hearing requirements (in-person speech, telephone, other sounds).
