Monitors the effective performance of the computer network, including resource utilization, trending and capacity planning.
Manages and designs Network infrastructure in order to maximize network efficiency, availability and reliability.
Designs system configuration, directs system installation, documents and enforces system standards.
Installs network devices and services such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, etc.
Configures and maintains all WAN infrastructures to ensure security regarding system access.
Selects and implements security tools, policies and procedures in conjunction with the department’s security team.
Evaluates, tests, and recommends new software and network system updates.
Performs network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, hot fixes and security patches.
Troubleshoots network problems and outages, schedules upgrades and collaborates with management on network optimization.
Works within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
Ensures Credit Union compliance with software licensing agreements.
Acts as liaison with vendors and other department personnel for problem resolution.
Completes special projects as assigned.
Updates and maintains job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Promotes and establishes strong, positive and productive working relationships within the organization through commitment to the company’s vision statement, core values and business principles.
Starting Salary for this role: 89k
