You are a cleared (Secret or higher), highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in network and system administration. You have experience working with classified environments and are familiar with the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of secure communications LAN, WAN, and voice systems. You are a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide primary IT support for our classified environment.

You will focus on the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of secure communications LAN, WAN, and voice systems, onsite in our Sunnyvale, CA secure facility. Core responsibilities will include:

  • Upgrades, operations, and maintenance of hardware and software installations
  • Service requests for routers, switches, firewalls, and cryptographic equipment
  • Continuity of operations, including backups and verified restore capabilities
  • Design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of secure communications LAN, WAN, and voice systems
  • Primary IT support for a classified environment, utilizing network and system administration skills
  • Determining root causes of network issues and recommend strategies to prevent recurrences

From onsite to remote, we offer flexible work schedules to comprehensive benefits investing in your future and security. This role is scoped on a 4x10 schedule, offering Fridays off, and all work must be performed on-site in our facility in Sunnyvale, CA.

Basic qualifications include:

  • Must have a DoD Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizen)
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Security+ certification or higher or 8572 qualified certificate within first 60 days of employment
  • Knowledge of general networking principles
  • Experience with routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Experience performing diagnostics and troubleshooting network issues
  • Experience with the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of secure communications LAN, WAN, and voice systems
  • Experience with network monitoring and providing notifications of issues on a daily basis
  • Experience determining root causes of network issues and recommend strategies to prevent recurrences
  • Works well in a team environment

Desired skills include:

  • Some design and architecture of LAN, WAN, and voice systems
  • Some experience with cryptographic equipment (e.g. KG-175 encryptors)
  • Some project management/project lead experience
  • Some experience performing Layer 1 cabling work

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
