MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to join our team onsite in Norfolk, VA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Modeling cable level details based on existing documentation such as cable block diagrams and cable run sheets
Modeling metadata, such as weight/power/cooling details for equipment, based on the review of equipment installation control drawings and data sheets
Supporting working group discussions to resolve disconnects or other modeled items that require clarification
Collaborating with other modeling team members to implement new requests from the customer (e.g. auto-formatting of diagrams or including additional data in exports via meta chains or other smart reports)
Generating scripts, templates, and reports to satisfy customer data calls
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience or equivalent education and years of experience in lieu of degree
Experience with MBSE software tools (ex. Cameo Systems Modeler)
Experience with cable block diagrams, wiring diagrams, or similar diagrams with cable level connection details
Experience with SysML (system modeling language)
Familiarity with Excel, filtering data, basic V-LOOKUP type functions
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with Navy
Prior experience with Navy Continuous Training Environment program
Clearance Requirements:
US Citizenship required and an Active Secret Security clearance
Physical Requirements:
Up to 25% travel required or as needed.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
