Looking for candidates with a blend of engineering and development experience, particularly those who have worked on installs, configuration, upgrades, performance tuning, and middleware integration in enterprise environments. Role Overview: Join the Middleware Engineering Team as a Sterling File Gateway Middleware Engineer to support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and resiliency initiatives. The role involves both development and infrastructure work, with a focus on integration, support, and lifecycle management of key middleware platforms. Key Responsibilities: Integrate new clients with middleware technologies Provide production support for Sterling File Gateway and related platforms Perform lifecycle activities: installations, standard builds, patching, upgrades, migrations, code deployments Leverage automation and scripting tools to ensure system resiliency and efficiency Collaborate across teams to support middleware integrations and performance tuning Technologies You’ll Work With: Sterling Suite: B2B Integrator, Secure Proxy, SEAS, Perimeter Server IBM WebSphere MQ Apache Kafka Middleware platforms and proxies Automation/Scripting tools (e.g., Shell, Python, Ansible, etc.) Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Sterling File Gateway & related IBM middleware Experience in middleware engineering and production support Solid knowledge of Kafka, IBM WebSphere MQ, and automation/scripting Proven track record with middleware integrations and product lifecycle management
