40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. $135,731 - $215,000/yr.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside in California and most states. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field, plus two (2) years of experience in industrial robotics. In the alternative, employer will accept a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Must have education or experience in all of the following related to 6-DOF or scara-type industrial robots:
Kinematic and dynamics modeling by deriving equation-of-motion;
Trajectory profile calculation using trapezoidal or jerk-limited profiles; and
PID loop tuning using classical control theory
Must have education or experience with firmware or software development using C++ and C.
Must have education or experience with image processing using OpenCV or other classical technique toolboxes.
Must have education or experience with failure analysis using 5-Why or 8D methods.
Experience may be gained while in graduate school.
