Mechatronics Engineer

Recruiting a Mechatronics Engineer to design, program, and integrate advanced control systems for niche heavy machinery. This role combines mechanical, electrical, and software engineering disciplines, taking projects from concept through build, test, and deployment. You'll work on systems where microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators integrate with hydraulic and pneumatics to deliver precision, performance, and reliability.
Responsibilities: Design, program and integrate control systems, PLC/embedded controllers, diagrams, harnesses and schematics Develop algorithms for controlling and monitoring motors, pumps, actuators, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems Select and integrate sensors for RPM, position, temperature, pressure and system status monitoring Collaborate with internal and external dealers, teams, and customers to resolve system-related issues and technical support. Support manufacturing teams with control system implementation, assembly troubleshooting, and training. Process and manage engineering change orders and documentation of updates and changes.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or mechanical engineering or related field. 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in heavy equipment, trucking or automotive systems. Proficiency in PLC programming, embedded systems, or microcontroller-based control as well as CAD and FEA tools. Strong understanding of control systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, sensor instrumentation, and power distribution. Ability to read and create schematics, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials
