Exciting 12-month development opportunity to work for a global leader dedicated to helping people see brilliantly. The largest device company in the world - with complementary businesses in Surgical and Vision Care - is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to join their team!
Schedule: M-F 8a-5p
Location: Belmont, CA
Pay Rate: $54-$60/hr
Responsibilities: Design components, systems, and prototypes for medical/scientific products Conduct engineering analysis to support development and troubleshooting Develop and execute test protocols for prototypes and components Create and manage detailed product drawings and documentation Design test fixtures/systems and conduct Gauge R&R and validation activities
Qualifications: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering + 5 years' experience Proficiency in Creo (preferred), SolidWorks, or other CAD software Experience designing test fixtures and systems Experience with test method development and validation for design verification 1-2 years of experience in the medical device industry (preferred)
