We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic and innovative team. Responsibilities
Reverse engineer components and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
Design and develop mechanical systems using CAD software, primarily SolidWorks.
Collaborate with the sales team to create innovative products that meet client needs.
Travel internationally, up to 25%, to countries such as Chile, Peru, and Mexico to oversee projects and collaborate with global teams.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including design, follow-up, and implementation.
Participate in the physical scanning of products to obtain dimensions and create models and drawings.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field.
Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software.
Strong mechanical design and systems knowledge.
Hands-on mechanical aptitude, including experience with sheet metal.
Ability to travel internationally.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in machine design is preferred.
Interest in mechanical engineering and pride in delivering quality results.
Experience in juggling multiple projects and working independently.
Work Environment
The work environment is a smaller office within a newer company, boasting a close-knit culture where everyone knows each other and shares a passion for engineering. The team consists of 3-4 engineers, and you will work independently while collaborating with others. The company values milestones with celebrations and catered food or steak dinners. With a global presence, the company offers opportunities to travel internationally and work on diverse projects.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $45.00/hr.
