This is a fantastic 12 month fixed term contract role with a possibility of becoming permanent down the track

Your Role Maintain and update CAD models and drawings Design of continuous improvement solutions Review opportunities to reduce cost through design, process and supply Support and participate in product development projects Complete chassis preps in accordance with compliance regulations & guidelines Assist in developing a methodology to use common components Assist in the preparation of technical details for sales and marketing Manage and create technical documentation About You a Bachelor of Engineering degree (most likely Mechanical) or maybe a mechanical trades background with a Diploma in Engineering or Cert IV in mechanical drafting around 5 years of rich post graduation experience designing in SolidWorks and / or AutoCAD Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as within a team environment Knowledge and understanding of chassis body builders guidelines, VSB, ADR’s and Australian Standards This is a genuine opportunity for a career development step for a professional mechanical design engineer.
