Duration: Long Term

Location: Addison, TX/Newark DE (3 Days Onsite)

As a Cloudera Platform Engineer , you will:

Top 3 skills:

1. Cloudera CDP Hadoop with strong background in Unix and Infrastructure

2. Spark, Python, Pyspark

3. Hive, Impala

4. Ozone

Required Education:  Bachelors + Characteristics of a top performer; Self-motivated, needs minimal direction and strong analytical skills. Deal Breaker Items: Lack of experience in large Hadoop environments.

Other required skills:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development with 2+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering

• Strong understanding of Java or Python

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and technology groups to designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions

• Experience working on Agile teams

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

1. Strong background in SQL

2. 5+ experience in Hadoop, Cloudera is a plus

3. Strong experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $60/hr - $70/hr on W2.
