Marine Chief Engineer Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Chief Engineer to join our offshore operations aboard a specialized vessel. This is a critical leadership role responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all mechanical, electrical, and propulsion systems onboard. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in marine engineering, a proven ability to lead engineering teams, and hands-on experience with offshore support or construction vessels. Marine Chief Engineer Responsibilities Oversee all engine room operations and supervise the engineering crew Manage planned and corrective maintenance programs to ensure system reliability and regulatory compliance Operate and maintain main propulsion, auxiliary systems, and associated electrical systems Maintain detailed logs and records related to inspections, maintenance, and inventory Ensure full compliance with flag state regulations, international standards (e.g., IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL), and company policies Collaborate closely with the Master and other department heads to support vessel readiness and mission objectives Participate in safety drills, audits, and inspections; contribute to onboard safety culture Marine Chief Engineer Position Requirements Chief Engineer License (Unlimited or appropriate for vessel class) Extensive sea-time experience in a senior engineering role, preferably on offshore support or construction vessels Solid knowledge of marine mechanical, electrical, and automation systems Valid STCW certifications, including an up-to-date medical certificate (e.g., ENG1 or equivalent) Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting Marine Chief Engineer Preferred Position Requirements DP vessel experience or offshore project familiarity Strong interpersonal and cross-departmental communication skills High commitment to safety, environmental protection, and operational excellence #LI-Onslite
