Quality Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer hybrid that supports the manufacture of complex machined structural parts for the Commercial and Defense Aerospace Industry. Duties include new product development, process improvement, production troubleshooting, and customer liaison for quality issues and configuration change. You will be working cross functionally with Programmers, Production, and Contract Program Managers to ensure smooth resolution of discrepancies, conduct internal audits and drive cause and corrective action activities. Ensures processes and procedures are following regulations. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.

Education and Experience:
- Requires Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent, combination of education and experience will be considered.
- At least 5 years manufacturing quality engineering experience in the aerospace industry, combination of education/experience will be considered
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Computer Skills
- Working knowledge of Machining practices/procedures and supporting processes.
- Ability to analyze and develop policies/procedures, to perform sound root cause analysis (including pareto, fishbone, 5Y) and to perform process mapping.
- Proficient in technical interpretation of engineering documents, drawings, blueprints, models.
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and prioritize own work.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively to a team effort.
- Strong interpersonal and customer-oriented skills. Proficient in use of computer applications including MS Office Suite, MS Project, Visio.

Language Skills
- Ability to read and write the English language.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Pay Range: $75,000 - $125,000 USD
