Title: Manufacturing Production Engineer Location: Elmhurst, IL Hire Type: Direct Hire Salary: $100-120K yrly Misc: This role is 100% on-site We’re seeking a hands-on Engineer with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering to support existing product design, new product development, and production process improvements. This role works cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure high product performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime. Support product and process improvement initiatives. Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions. Assist in the design, testing, and documentation of custom systems. Support component sourcing and qualification for new designs. Maintain BOMs, wiring, and piping schematics in SolidWorks and ERP systems. Provide technical support for assembly, testing, and troubleshooting. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (or Electrical Engineering with strong mechanical background). Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred). Knowledge of refrigeration systems is a plus. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
