About Our Client
A national medical device and aerospace manufacturer that continues to grow and dominate new and existing markets. They are looking to expand across the Northeast as their Massachusetts facility will be up 15% at the end of the year in revenue and continuing to add head count.
Job Description
The Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for: Implement modern manufacturing methods for orthopedic implants and instruments.
Develop and validate CNC programs, fixtures, setup sheets, and tooling parameters.
Support machine setup and production through first-part approval.
Identify and order special tooling as needed.
Create and maintain product, process, and internal documentation.
Gain proficiency in programming and operating across multiple machining platforms.
Manage tool life to maximize unattended machine run time.
Apply project management skills to scheduling, meetings, and action tracking.
Mentor junior engineers and support personnel.
Handle engineering change requests and document control.
Participate in contract reviews and suggest design improvements for manufacturability.
Identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve quality.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

The Successful Applicant
The successful Manufacturing Process Engineer will have what follows: Highly skilled in operating two or more of the following CNC machines: EDM RAM, EDM Wire, Lathe, Mill, Mill-Turn, Swiss.
Proficient in 3D CAD.
Competent in CAM programming.
Experienced in using calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and height gauges for dimensional inspection.
Strong mathematical abilities.
Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office and internet usage.
Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints.
Strong analytical abilities with effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
