The Manufacturing Engineer – Weld Technologies and Design for Manufacture provides technical consultative, tactical, and strategic global support for weld processes and operations. In addition, this position works closely with the engineering design teams to guide early-stage new product development to ensure alignment with the latest manufacturing strategies; collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing to coordinate a smooth manufacturing rollout of new products; and serve as a leader driving global initiatives focused on improving safety, manufacturing sustainability, efficiency, and standardization. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Develop, implement and maintain weld test procedures and safety protocols to share best practices and ensure global standardization Provide technical support and assist in training of personnel on welding equipment, procedures, examination, and safety measures Provide Manufacturing interface with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to address potential manufacturability issues related to welding Define strategic direction for Manufacturing as welding technologies advance Serve as the manufacturing representative on new product design teams to provide manufacturing input on early-stage product designs Coordinate manufacturing planning and execution for new and existing products with world area and site teams through meetings and digital collaboration tools Travel to global manufacturing locations as required Who You Are: You are a passionate self-starter that will insert yourself and network with other groups and resources. For This Role, You Will Need: BA/BS in Business, Engineering or Operations related field or equivalent work experience. More than years of professional experience Experience collaborating with remote teams Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Previous design or manufacturing engineering experience to include welding, fabrication, and machining Solid working knowledge of welding, heat treatment, and materials Excellent leadership and communication skills in a global environment Five years related Flow Controls experience preferred Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies Able to work well with teams to tackle sophisticated problems Forward thinking – ability to research and implement innovation Ability to successfully implement process change
